Shopping

How do I get started?
If you are a new customer, you will need to give us some personal details as set out on the order form, including your email address and shipping details. Once we have your email address, an account will be assigned to you. You can use your account to review previous orders. We will also automatically fill in your personal details for shipping of future orders. [At the moment, we can only ship goods to customers in Australia.]

If you need to update any account details, log on to your account and select ‘account information’. Update your details and then select ‘update details’ to submit changes.

How do I place an order?
Ordering your selection from our web site is as easy as entering your desired quantity of product and selecting ‘Add to Basket’. When you have completed shopping and wish to confirm your order, select ‘View Basket’. You can then change the quantity of goods that you would like to purchase, or remove goods from your basket. Your order will be finalised when you select ‘Check Out’.

To confirm your order, payment options and shipping details, select ‘Submit Order’. By submitting your order, you agree to these terms and conditions, the terms and conditions that apply to use of the website and our privacy and security policy. [You may not cancel an order after you submit it.]

Once Bead Them Up has processed your order, we will email you an invoice. You must pay this invoice within 7 days.

Are there limits on what I can order from you?
Bead Them Up holds limited quantities of stock. For that reason, we have specified maximum order limits for some items. When stock is sold out we restock as soon as possible.

What prices apply to your goods? Are trade discounts available?
The prices that apply to our goods are set out in the website inclusive of GST. Our products are almost all imported direct from manufacturers and are sold at trade prices. We offer a 15% discount to jewellery retailers who supply us with ABN details and verification of their status.

How can I pay?
You can pay us by one of the following methods:

- Direct Deposit

- Bank cheque made out to Bead Them Up, sent to 41A Bay Rd, Taren Point 2229, Sydney NSW Australia.

- Personal cheques made out to Bead Them Up, sent to 41A Bay Rd, Taren Point 2229, Sydney NSW Australia. Goods will be dispatched only once the cheque has cleared

- Australia Post money order made payable to Bead Them Up, sent to 41A Bay Rd, Taren Point 2229, Sydney NSW Australia.

- Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard and Bankcard are accepted, but we can only process transactions over the telephone, and we do not store credit card details. Please specify a contact number. Please do not sent credit card details to us over the internet or by email because we cannot guarantee their security.

- EFTPOS (only at our Bead Them Up premises, 41A Bay Rd, Taren Point 2229, Sydney NSW Australia (approximately 15 minutes south of Sydney Airport))

Will the goods that I am sent be the same as those shown on the website?
While we do our best to ensure that the quality of our products is standard, our products are mostly hand made and may vary in quality, colour and other features. We endeavour to describe items as accurately as possible. However, we do not guarantee that our descriptions are error free.

Also, because of your screen display and other external factors, colours and details of our products may not appear correctly when displayed. This may mean that the features of the goods you receive do not appear the same as when you viewed them on our website.

How are goods sent to me?
Goods will be sent to you via Australia Post. Australia Post is responsible for all shipping issues. Once we give the product to Australia Post for delivery to you, risk in relation to the goods passes to you. Claims for damage and loss must be made to Australia Post. We do not accept responsibility for parcels lost or damaged by Australia Post. However, please contact us immediately if your parcel doesn’t arrive after 7 days after we have notified you that your order has been sent to you, or arrives damaged.

You can select the way in which we send the goods to you from the following. We will add the cost of the option you select to your order.

- Regular Post: Australia Post estimates that parcels will arrive between 4-7 business days from dispatch.

- Express Post: Australia Post estimates that parcels will arrive 1-2 business days from dispatch.

- Registered Post: Australia Post estimates that parcels will arrive between 4 – 7 business days from dispatch. Australia Post charges include insurance to the value of [$100.00]. If you choose Registered Post, a recipient must be at the destination address you gave us to receive the parcel, or you will need to attend the post office on notification of receipt to collect the parcel.

How can I track my order?
To check the status of any current order, log on to your account and select ‘order history’.

Can I return goods?
We carefully examine goods before dispatch to ensure that they are in good condition when sent to you. We do not exchange goods because you have changed your mind about your purchase after you have placed your order. We do not offer refunds. However, if we believe that goods were defective when we gave them to Australia Post, we will replace them. This does not exclude any rights that you might have under any applicable law to a return or refund which cannot be excluded at law.

If you need to return goods because they are defective other than because of damage during the shipping process, please contact us within 3 days of receipt of parcel to info@beadthemup.com.au. If you do not contact us within that time, the goods will be considered to have been delivered in good condition and accepted by you.

If we accept your request, we will email you a reference number. You then need to return the goods to us within 7 days, with the reference number. We will then send to you replacement goods as soon as we have them in stock [together with a credit note for the costs of shipping the goods for return]. [We will send you an email notice telling you when we have processed your order and sent your replacement goods.]
